Overview
Taking inspiration from the traditional courtyard houses of Arabia the Dar Al Masyaf has beautiful designed stand alone, two storey houses. Here guests are welcomed into sun drenched solace in these exquisite courtyard style houses. These are the premium places to stay within the resort and they offer an intimate hideaway nestled within the waterways and gardens.

There are two types of house which are Arabian and Gulf. Each of the types has luxurious guest rooms and suites. The Gulf houses have great access to the beach and all have a superb location within the resort. All of the rooms can be arranged to accommodate one to three guests, depending on requirements, and are ideal for small groups or families.

The literal translation of Dar Al Masyaf means summer house. These prestigious properties are designed to provide a spacious and luxury retreat in the style of elegant residential houses. Come and enjoy the sunny location, landscaped gardens and all that the Madinat Jumeirah has to offer.

Accommodation
At the Madinat Jumeirah Dar Al Masyaf you will find 283 rooms and suites which are all well appointed and luxuriously furnished. Set in 29 summer house style properties the rooms and suites all have private balconies or terrace areas in which you can enjoy the glorious sunshine.

Arabian and Gulf Houses
The Arabian summer houses can be approached through a lovely and picturesque gardened central courtyard. Enter through a larger Arabic style door to reveal sumptuous quality and stylish decorations. These exquisite properties are furnished in the warm tones reminiscent of traditional Arabian houses.

Arabian Deluxe – Arabian and Gulf Houses
These rooms are situated on the ground and first floor and have excellent views out over the landscaped gardens and waterways. Decorated inside in the warm colours of ochre and yellow to create a sense of relaxed refinement they offer a peaceful retreat. Antique furniture fills the interior and gives a feeling of luxury as do the traditional Middle Eastern styles. In the rooms there is a large bedroom with a lounge seating area, a marble bathroom with a rain shower and roll topped bathtub a wide terrace and a private butler service. The rooms can fit 2 adults and 2 children (below the age of 12) or 3 adults.

Arabian Suite – Arabian and Gulf Houses
The well proportioned suites are full of warm colours and natural coloured tiles. Antique furniture contrasts with the traditional Middle Eastern styling and creates a relaxed and peaceful atmosphere. These suites sit on the first floor and give a great view of the picturesque landscape of the resort and its waterways. The suites feature large rooms with a lounge, dining area, superb bedroom and spacious marble bathroom. There are two private terraces and luxurious in room amenities and access to exclusive shared pools. Complimentary services include a private butler service; transfer to and from Dubai International Airport, pre dinner drinks in the Majlis of each individual’s summerhouse from 6pm till 8pm and breakfast at Khaymat Al Bahar or Arboteum.

Ocean Deluxe – Gulf Houses
These well appointed rooms are fit for a king and exude regality and refined taste. Designed to reflect the Arabian style the are full of blue hues and dark wood furniture. Here you will find a fusion of Middle Eastern luxury in these harmonious and regal rooms. Luxury is guaranteed. Room features include a large bedroom with lounge seating area, intricately detailed bathroom with free standing bath and walk in rain shower. On top of this there is a private butler service.

Ocean Suite – Gulf Houses
Ocean suites are situated on the first floor for the best views of the Arabian Gulf. Here you will find cool blues and white linen which runs as a theme throughout the spacious living areas. The panoramic vistas of the ocean can be seen in the design of the room and create a real feeling of space. Al fresco dining in private terraces in the traditional courtyard dwelling are just some of the things on offer. The suite features a large bedroom, separate Majlis lounge, sumptuous bathroom with walk in rain shower, authentic Arabic furnishings and a private butler service. There are two wide balconies which give great views of the ocean and have easy access to the beach. Complimentary services include transfer to and from Dubai International Airport, pre dinner drinks in the Majlis of each individual’s summerhouse from 6pm till 8pm and breakfast at Khaymat Al Bahar or Arboteum.

Guest Amenities
For business there are data ports, private fax/printer/copier and voicemail service. For entertainment there is satellite television with a wide choice of channels and there is a Kid’s club and adventure playground. In the rooms there are his and hers luxurious bath amenities, a safe, hairdryer, mini bar and baby cots are available. Disabled rooms are available upon request as are smoking and none smoking rooms (subject to availability).

Restaurants
At the Madinat Jumeirah Dar Al Masyaf you will find two restaurants which will cater to all of your dining needs. Located amongst the waterways and landscaped gardens the restaurants offer the perfect setting for enjoying a romantic meal or a relaxed meal with the family.

PaiThai
Literally translated the name means Go Thai and this is a great setting to enjoy Thai food. During the day this is Dar Al Masyaf’s all day dining restaurant while at night it is transformed into a contemporary Thai restaurant which is full of flavour and style. There are extensive terraces where you can enjoy the views of the waterways and landscaped gardens and enjoy some al fresco dining.

Segreto
Hidden amongst the summer house is the secluded enclave of Segreto restaurant. This Italian restaurant speciality is fine dining and it is full of character. Sitting among the waterways in the shadow of Al Qasr it embodies Italian style. Choose to eat al fresco and enjoy the stunning views of the gardens and waterways. Exuding warmth and elegance the restaurant is perfect for special occasions.

Facilities
The Resort is exceptionally well equipped with numerous leisure options. The Quay Healthclub offers fitness classes to suit all levels, along with an extensive gymnasium housing the very latest in cardio-vascular and resistance health technology. The 25m indoor lap pool is temperature controlled and set within a wonderfully designed environment, surrounded by large windows overlooking waterways.

Outdoors, on the large beach, a variety of water sports are available. Both the beach and the outdoor pools are attended by qualified lifeguards. Talise Spa is accessed via waterway and is the region's most comprehensive spa facility. For children, the Sinbad's Kids club in the neighbouring Al Qasr hotel is a place of endless fascination for the young at heart.

Accessible either through Mina A' Salam or via the external entrance, all healthclub facilities are open to guests of The Resort on a complimentary basis. Fitness classes and certain treatments are subject to charges. The Madinat Jumeirah healthclub offers a wide variety of classes, fitness programmes and training regimes. Embracing most techniques and fitness levels, the classes available include: Body Pump, RPM, Yoga, Aqua Aerobics, Fencing, Swimming Clinics, STEP.

Squash
Two state-of-the-art glass backed courts are available at The Quay Healthclub. Rackets are available at reception. Guests must wear only non-marking footwear on the courts.

Our professional tennis coaches can offer tennis lessons to suit all ages, skill and fitness levels. Tennis clinics allow you to programme a series of lessons over the course of your stay. Five superb floodlit courts exist at Madinat Jumeirah. Rackets are readily available for hire.

Water Sports
All available at reasonable rates from the Water Sports Centre, located on the beach. Windsurfing, Sailing, Waterskiing, Kneeboard, wakeboard and banana rides, Kayaks, Boat trips, The Dive centre employs fully qualified instructors (PADI), and diving is available for all levels, from beginner to expert, Deep sea fishing, luxury motor and sailing yacht charter is also available at the neighboring Jumeirah Beach Hotel.
